PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Toronto, ON | August 26, 2026 — Keynote speaker, facilitator, and JUNO Award–nominated singer-songwriter Peter Katz has been inducted into the National Speakers Association's (NSA) CPAE® Speaker Hall of Fame, becoming only the fifth Canadian speaker in the award’s history to receive the honour.
The Council of Peers Award for Excellence [CPAE®] is awarded by peers through a rigorous evaluation process that examines a speaker's integrity, message, delivery, and body of work over a career; reserved for those who've reached the top of the profession. Past honourees include Jim Rohn, Colin Powell, and Zig Ziglar.
Katz received the award at the NSA’s annual conference awards banquet on July 27, 2026 in Austin, TX, surrounded by family, dear friends, and colleagues.
Today, Peter is a trusted partner to Fortune 500 companies, leading healthcare systems, major associations, and all levels of government. They all turn to Peter to help them clarify what matters most, recognize it in everyday actions, and celebrate it in ways that fuel connection and performance.

GRATITUDE
Katz is quick to credit the honour to a process, not a performance. "This award is a recognition and celebration of a process," he said in his acceptance speech. "The process of seeing human beings and honouring the privilege of serving them with great care. That is what I have loved doing my whole life, as a songwriter, speaker and facilitator: shining a light on people's goodness and brilliance and then celebrating it as a way to inspire others."
He thanked the National Speakers Association and the community of peers who championed him along the way, along with the team at Speakers Spotlight who believed in him from the beginning. He reserved his warmest thanks for his family — including his partner, Taes, and his mother, Catherine, who were in the room for the induction.
Peter is particularly honoured to be inducted alongside his remarkable colleagues Manley Feinberg, Jess Pettit, Anton Gun, and Allison Shapira.
